Scott Freed with a nice Alaskan Moose and Caribou
GoldTip Shooting Staff Manager Tim Gillingham and his 2007 Elk taken in Utah. This 360 bull had 60" main beams and 60" of mass and is truly a bull of a lifetime. A 20 yard shot with a Realtree 7595 and a Goldtip Gladiator broadhead and a 70 yard recovery showed the true effectiveness of archery equipment on even a tough old elk.

Elk 8-28-2005

I took this beautiful 6x6 bull elk on a solo-wilderness hunt, six miles from any roads on my second day of the season in Central Colorado. I called this bull in for a 5 yard shot, and he didn't make it more than 40 yards before collapsing.

Dear Gold Tip,

Thanks again for a great arrow, I arrowed this monster bull elk in AZ last week and the Gold Tip Pro Hunter did its job. The bull is a great 7x7 that would have grossed over 400 inches had it not been broken in several places. As is the bull grosses just under 384. Thanks again for a great arrow..

Johnny Costello - SCI World Record Roosevelt's Elk!

In the spring of 2004, John Costellow and I, called upon Gold Tip to support us in our hunting/filming adventures. In return, you sent us great products, to use in our adventures. We would like to thank you for a wonderful year. In the 2004 season, we harvested the new world record roosevelt bull elk with archery. We took three nationally ranked Rio Grande turkeys and a blacktail buck that ranked in the top 20 in Oregon. We also guided different people on four new state records. We did TV shows with Rob Snider of Hunter's Journal "Hunting the Great Rio Grande Turkeys" and lead Jim Horn of Primos on his biggest ever blacktail buck. These shows will air in 2005 on the Outdoor Channel. We thank you and hope to have your support for 2005. Read more about this Elk by clicking the link below.

Thanks - Dan Syfert

Ron Gilbert - "the right equipment paid off"
I took a nice 350 Bull elk at 70 yards - My confidence in my equipment allowed me to make the shot which landed about 8" behind his right shoulder. I also took a huge buffalo, that was at an all-out run. Again the right equipment paid off. I have been using Gold Tip arrows since they first came out.

Rick Marchand - "One shot . . . and the rest is history"

Here is a picture I took last week of a moose I shot with my recurve and my Gold Tip 5575's. One perfect shot at 18 yds, the bull ran 60 yds and the rest is history.
