May 14-16, Bedford, IN
The IBO ( International Bowhunters Organization) kicked off the National Triple Crown with it’s annual tournament in Bedford, IN about an hour south of Indianapolis. With more varied terrain than most ASA venues the IBO is a little more challenging, especially when judging the yardage to the targets. This didn’t stop Levi Morgan again with an outstanding performance in the Men’s Pro Division. He shot 30 out of 40 11 rings with a dominating performance with the 7595 Pro Hunters. I guess he’s running with, “ Don’t fix what isn’t broke.” His wife Samantha Morgan also took home the win in Bedford in the Women’s Pro Class. He must be sharing some of his secrets with her. Other top performances came from wins in the Pro Fingers class from Mike Nicholson and the Semi-Pro Division from Scott Burnside. Also in the top spot was Joe Pietro in SHC, Paul Depover in MSR, and Tim Pietro in the youth traditional class. It was a great weekend for archery and a great weekend for Gold Tip shooters.
