Sixteen archers paired off in the ever popular ESPN Games format for a live television performance of a pretty exciting, made to watch, archery game. Promoted by the Archery Trade Association, it is the only nationally televised archery event in the country. It will re-air 19 times on ESPN 2 so check out ESPN’s website for show times.

The format is do or die with only four fast paced stations that include pop-up targets, moving targets, an accuracy/risk and reward style target and a speed target. Head to head shooting and the winner moves on. Talk about pressure. It can take a perfectly good archer and make him look really bad. To top it off the 20MPH wind made the event very challenging. All targets are breakable so the audience can follow the progression very well.
