Lee Ford, perfect 120 X!

Lee, a Laramie, WY resident and a long time Gold Tip Shooter has been tearing it up this year. After shooting a perfect 120X, 600 at Louisville this weekend he is one of two archers still in contention for the $1,000,000.00 that is offered to any archer that shoots perfect in all three legs of the 3-Star Tour. Congratulations Lee and keep those 30X Pro shafts hammering the X-ring.

The 3-Star tour is a premier event in archery that offers archers a busy weekend of archery in several forms. Also held is a Pro and Amateur Marked 3-d event and now there is also a Pop-up 3-d event also which is part of several nationwide qualifiers that will culminate at a World Championship in July. Gold Tip Staff Manager Tim Gillingham won both the Pro 3-d event and the Popup 3-d event with his Gold Tip 30X arrows and Mathews Apex at the same time finishing just out of the shoot off in the Indoor National Target event missing only one X-ring along with fellow Gold Tip shooters Daryll Diehl and Jeff Ward with the same score.
