Gold Tip Carbon Arrows

The Archery Shooters Association started the 3rd tournament of the 2006 Tour in a brand new location in Augusta Georgia, home of the PGA Masters golf tournament. It was a great location with great amenities and Gold Tip Shooters came to play and ended up with 6 first pplace finishes for the weekend. The weather was beautiful and the exact opposite of the wet weather of the 2005 3-d season.

One of the big highlights of the weekend was when Levi Morgan, a brand new Gold Tip staff shooter and a 2006 Pro rookie used his Gold Tip 30X arrows to set the new record on the ten target marked distance Sims course. He shot an awesome 9 out of ten 14 rings and a single ten to set the record in an event that has been dominated by Gold Tip shooters. The previous record was held by Gold Tip Staff Manager Tim Gillingham who shot nine of ten 14 rings also with his Gold tip X-cutters. He was a second place finish behind Levi with a score of 128 on ten target. The Sims round leaves nothing to luck or chance and Gold Tip shooters showed how incredibly accurate their Gold Tip carbon shafts were.
