30x Arrow. Literally the biggest addition to Gold Tip’s arrow line up is a 26/64 inch diameter arrow. We listened when shooters said they wanted to pickup a few extra points. We responded by creating the largest diameter graphite arrow on the market. Its diameter is maximized to help shooters shoot a perfect 30x. We simply call it the “30x.” The 30x comes in two grades – the 30x Pro and the 30x. The 30x Pro holds a +/- .001” straightness tolerance and is weight matched to +/- ½ grain per dozen while the 30x holds a +/- .003 straightness tolerance and is weight matched to +/- 2 grains. 30x arrows come standard with your choice of press fit nocks or pin nock adapters. Gold Tip also offers shooters three glue in points (50, 100, or 150 grains) which are all weight system compatible. Inserts are also available. The 30x arrows are available now. Archers can contact local archery shops and outdoor retailers to place orders.

Ted Nugent Signature Arrow. “That’s too cool. What are you shooting?” That seems to be the response to the new Ted Nugent Signature Arrow. The Ted Nugent arrow features the trademark zebra stripes, Ted Nugent’s signature and maintains the toughness, tolerances and durability of the ever popular Expedition Hunter 5575. This is the arrow archers’ purchase when they are looking for something just a little different. The zebra pattern also serves as an exceptional snow camo. The Ted Nugent Signature Arrow is available now and perfect for the Christmas season.

Pin Nock and Nock Systems. Gold Tip now offers a complete pin nock system. The pin nock adapters are available in four sizes – Standard .246, Series 22, X-Cutter and 30x. To go with the pin nock adapters, Gold Tip offers a new line of pin nocks in a variety of colors, including: orange, flo green, green, yellow, flo red and white. Also, new to the line is Gold Tip’s press fit GT nocks for Series 22, X-Cutters and 30x shafts. These nocks are labeled and packaged by cavity, providing the consistency of single cavity nocks at a fraction of the cost.

Index-able Half Moon Nock Butt. Gold Tip continues to make life easier with new innovations. Gold Tip made a press fit nock butt with a simple 1/8” Allen wrench hole in the rear of the nock so shooters can index the nock quickly and easily without any special tools. The new nock will be available in January.

Other Components. Gold Tip’s 2005 product catalog is available this month. In addition to the products discussed above, the catalog displays an expanded vane and feather selection, modified points with new gold finishes and a simplified weight system. Notably, all of the points are now compatible with the weight system compatible. The weigh system now consists of a weight wrench, one nock adapter and three weight screw combos (10, 20 and 50 grain). Gold Tip’s component offering is stronger than ever before.
